Welcome to Hooked on Cycling and our cycling holidays in Greece. This particular cycling holiday is a biking vacation exploring the Island of Corfu. This cycle tour is a 7 night self guided bike tour on the Island of Corfu. Edward Lear wrote in 1863 to describe the island of Corfu “The more I see from this place, the more I feel that no other spot on earth can be fuller of beauty”. With the passage of time the island may have changed, but we can still feel the spirit of a distant glorious past. Its rich multi-cultural heritage, its historic monuments, its stunning natural landscape, its crystal clear seas, and its excellent weather all year round explain why Corfu is one of the most cosmopolitan Mediterranean destinations weaving a powerful spell on its visitors.
From the foothills of the Pantokrator Mountain you will explore Southern Corfu by bike! Enjoy Corfu’s nature with its olive groves, emerald green/blue sea, white houses in rural villages and numerous cypress trees. The bike tours are not very long and thus enable you to relax on the beach, drink a cold beer on a terrace or enjoy fresh fish in a Greek tavern.
