Welcome to Hooked on Cycling holidays and our cycling holiday in Austria. This biking vacation in Austria will take you from the ski resort at St Moritz to innsbruck. This particular cycle tour we have graded as level 2 and is available as a self guided bike tour . You know if you were an artist with brush and colours, inspired by impressionism, you would need weeks to complete this tour. Too many sensual impressions, too magnificent the panorama and too many picturesque villages of the Engadin like Zernez, Susch and Lavin. You will mainly follow the Inn cycle path which leads through outstanding landscapes. You will see the the wide Hochtal (valley) as Oberengadin merges into the big forests of the Swiss National Park. Then suddenly the scenery changes as the Austrian county of the Tyrol welcomes you with warm hospitality. The cycle tour ends in Innsbruck, a stay in the Olympic city is one of the highlights of the Inn-bicycle path. You will partly cycle on cycle paths, partly on forest and gravel roads. The stages are a little bit hilly, with two to three medium ascents and a lot of regular down hills.
