The city of Dubrovnik and its surrounding countryside has a remarkable history over many centuries, even more recently in the early 1990’s it was involved and partly destroyed during the Balkans conflict which resulted in the breakup of Yugoslavia into separate countries. There was a huge displacement of citizens from the Konavle countryside into the city, with many evacuated by ship to save heavens. This tour starts in this beautiful Dubrovnik countryside region of Konavle, exploring the small villages and the extremely coastal town of Cavtat. You shall then transfer further north passing Dubrovnik to the Peljesac peninsula before crossing the wonderful Islands of Korcula and Mljet. You will then return to Dubrovnik allowing you time to explore the city but also take a day trip over to the island of Sipan.
