Holland is a great country to take your biking vacation , there is a big network of cycle ways , often away from the main traffic , it is a mainly flat region and when you do need to cycle with other motor vehicles the drivers are extremely bike friendly. Maybe Holland is the ultimate cycling holiday location. We have developed two main cycle tours in the Netherlands each that little bit different in the scenery and historic nature. You will notice from the daily schedules that we have on both tours the concept of 1 days cycling and 1 day optional cycle or other activity , this makes the tours also suitable for those who maybe do not wish to cycle each day.

This particular biking vacation in Holland will take you through the fabulous Eastern Holland countryside. The North-eastern part of the Holland is definitively one of the best places to make a beautiful cycle tour. It is dominated by heath, forests and age-old villages. As you will follow more than 75 percent of your time narrow and flat cycle paths, where cars are forbidden to drive on, this tour is very well suitable for families with children. Most of the routes are easy to shorten. A large part of the tour is situated in the province of Drenthe, which is world-famous for its many ‘hunebedden’ (dolmen). On many places you will see these impressive burial-mounds in the countryside. On the free days, there is always something special to do for young children if you do not wish to take the full optional cycle rides.
