Carinthia represents a relaxed way of life paired with an exquisite sense for enjoyment. Just as delightful you will hike through this one of a kind region located in the South of Austria. From Villach, the gateway to the Carinthian lake paradise, you will discover the villas on Lake Wörthersee and the magnificent palace whilst walking along the Velden lakeside. Always accompanied by the mountain panorama and the Villach Alps you climb up the Pyramidenkogel, followed by one lake-highlight after another: fantastic lakeside trails along Lake Millstatt, serpentine tracks on Lake Brennsee and comfortable trails on Lake Ossiach. But not only the sparkling lakes but also the high mountain peaks await to be discovered by you: the view from the so-called “Sternenbalkon” (star balcony) situated high above Lake Millstatt and the “Juwelenweg”-path through the Nock Mountains are only a few of the marvellous walking-highlights.
