Explore South Dalmatia by bike and boat as you travel between Split in the north and Dubrovnik in the south. Not only will you sail amongst amazing island scenery but you will also be able to visit historic Split and the fascinating city walls and historic city of Dubrovnik, both of which are UNESCO listed. You shall board the charming motor yacht Harmonia as you get to know this sparsely populated part of Croatia. For sure many cultural highlights and breathtaking scenic experiences will await you. The many highlights of this trip are the cities of Dubrovnik and Split but also you shall cycle on the islands of Šipan, Mljet, Lastovo, Korčula, Hvar and Brač and experience the interaction of sea and land, culture and nature close up and personally. Each week this trip alternates starting from Dubrovnik and sailing north or Spilt and sailing south.

Dubrovnik or Split
Minimum number 16 persons, minimum age 10 and height above 140 cm. This tour is mainly an E-Bike tour meaning the cycling pace is governed by E-Bikes. Those renting hybrid bikes need to be capable of keeping up with an E-Bike.
At 38 x 8.3 m, the MY Harmonia is an elegant, pearly white motor yacht. This two-mast beauty meets the highest expectations with her 16 luxurious guest cabins including tiled bathrooms with shower cabins/WC. The salon and numerous sun mats and beds on deck are at the guest’s disposal. With the bathing platform at the stern, taking a dip in the sea is uncomplicated, unrestricted bathing fun is guaranteed. The experienced crew and the captain offer a warm-hearted and considerate service, leaving no wish unattended.

Individual arrival to Dubrovnik. It is possible to check-in between 2-2.30 pm at Gruž, which is the town’s main port. Later at around 4.30 pm, we shall have a guided tour through the streets of Dubrovnik showing you this ancient city and all are the main highlights. We shall spend the night at this port in Dubrovnik allowing you the opportunity to spend your evening exploring the town on your own.
In the morning, we set sail from Dubrovnik to the nearby Island of Sipan which is the largest of the Elaphita islands. Here there will be a few cars! The night will be spent on a Island Bay where you can enjoy the simple Island atmosphere.
A short boat ride this morning brings us to the town of Sobra on the green and forested island Mljet which is known locally as the honey island. With 70 % of its landmass covered by woodland, it is the most forested island in the Mediterranean region. Homer mentioned this lovely island in his epic poem “Odyssey”. He made it a home for the Nymph Calypso and the legendary Greek king Odysseus, who could not resist Calypso and stayed on Mljet for seven years. Our bike tour takes us across its length from Sobra to Pomena. It is worthwhile to explore this wonderful town. We then board our boat again and head across to the Island of Korcula. Korcula town is the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo.
Today’s cycle tour leads us across the charming island of Korčula. A mild Mediterranean climate and a broad variety of different landscapes accompany us on the tour today. Take your time and remember to take a break to enjoy the view over the deep blue sea and neighbouring islands. Dinner is served on board to replenish our strength after an active day. Overnight stay in the sheltered by of Vela Luka.
Today we leave the island of Korčula and while sailing to the Island of Vis enjoy our breakfast. Vis is the furthermost inhabited island from mainland Croatia. A Greek colony called Issa settled on the island 2,300 years ago. Due to this strategic location, it was a military zone up until 1995 and foreign tourists were prohibited to visit. Then In the afternoon, we set off on our cycles to explore the Island. From the town of Vis we cycle once around the entire island with a coffee stop in the harbour of Komiža . The night is spent in the harbour of Vis.
The day starts with a relaxing cruise to Hvar town on the island of Hvar. Make use of the time before the bike tour begins to go for a little stroll through the city. Standing on the magnificent Renaissance Square you can enjoy a view up to the Spanish Fortress towering high above the city. Our cycle tour today will take us from Hvar town up a steady climb through small villages and lavender fields to the harbour town of Jelsa on the opposite side of the island. The descent down to Jelsa offers breath-taking views. After Ice cream and coffee in Jelsa, our ride continues through the picturesque town of Vrboska and through the ancient Greek plains, now a protected UNESCO heritage site, to the artistic village of Stari Grad where our boat awaits our arrival. The night is spent in Stari Grad.
In the morning again we sail to the island of Brač, Brač is well known for its radiant, precious limestone that was used in part for the White House in Washington as well as for the construction of the German Reichstag building in Berlin. Once we arrive on the Island, we start our cycle tour from Milna to the picturesque harbour town of Pučišća. Climbing our way over the island we will have some wonderful panoramic views across the Dalmatian coast. Along the way we take time to interact with the locals before continuing along the coast from Postira to Pučišća where our boat awaits us for lunch and the final cruise of the week to the UNESCO world heritage city of Split. On a guided city tour, we get the opportunity to see inside the former Palace of Emperor Diocletian and learn about its transformation into the city it is today.
