Vosges Mountains

Tour Details

Welcome tour 6 night hiking holiday through the Vosges Mountains France.  The Vosges Mountains, south of Strasbourg are in the heart of the Alsace region of France. Not only are they a great destination for a walking holiday in France, but they also offer some of the best conditions for wine growing in Europe. Geographically they also mark a clear border between France and Germany, also bearing great similarities to the Black Forest on the other side of the River Rhine as if mirroring them.

This tour has been graded by us at level 2-3 self-guided the distance is only really level 3 on day 4.

This is a trip in the heart of the Alsatian vineyards; its large vintages are spread among authentic villages. Sample these wonderful wines as you take your walking tour through this lovely region. You shall see numerous castles and beautiful villages typical of this wine region as well as the more famous towns of Eguisheim and Munster.
