The island, though one of the lower-lying Canary Islands, is not completely flat. The first day’s ride to Haría is more challenging, but the terrain generally transitions to easy to intermediate levels thereafter

After arriving at Arrecife Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in the beach resort of Costa Teguise. Take the rest of the day to unwind, explore the local shops and restaurants, or relax by the beach.
Start your cycling adventure after breakfast. Today’s route takes you to some of Lanzarote’s most iconic landmarks, designed by César Manrique. Visit the El Jardín de Cactus, Los Jameos del Agua, and El Mirador del Río, all blending art with nature. You can also stop by La Cueva de los Verdes, a volcanic cave with an interesting history, and cycle through charming fishing villages with views of Monte Corona, the island’s tallest volcano. End your day in Haría.
Today begins with a scenic ride from Haría, offering coastal views as you descend towards Teguise, Lanzarote’s former capital. Explore Teguise with its cobbled streets, historic buildings, and cafés where you can sit and recharge. Continue to San Bartolomé and the wine region of La Geria, famous for its volcanic vineyards. Arrive at your hotel in or near Teguise, where you’ll stay for the next two nights.
Enjoy a day to relax or opt for a loop ride that showcases Lanzarote’s natural beauty. Cycle towards the beach of Famara, framed by dramatic volcanic cliffs, and follow the coastline before crossing lava. Return to Teguise for another night.
Ride towards one of Lanzarote’s most famous attractions, the Parque Nacional de Timanfaya. Here, you’ll witness the island’s volcanic history at its most dramatic, with rugged lava fields and dormant volcanoes shaped by eruptions in the 18th century. On the way to Playa Blanca, visit the seaside crater of El Golfo, known for its emerald-green lagoon. End your day in Playa Blanca, a coastal town on Lanzarote’s southern coast.
Today offers several options. You can take a ferry to the nearby island of Fuerteventura and explore its stunning dunes and coastline by bike. Alternatively, stay in Playa Blanca to relax or explore the pristine Papagayo beaches, known for their unspoiled beauty. For seafood lovers, head back to El Golfo for a delicious meal overlooking the sea.
Cycle through the captivating wine region of La Geria, where innovative farming techniques have created a unique volcanic landscape producing award-winning wines. After sampling the area’s charm, descend to the coast and follow a scenic promenade through Puerto del Carmen before reaching Arrecife. Take time to explore the city’s charming inland lagoon, El Charco de San Ginés, and soak in the relaxed vibe of Lanzarote’s capital.
Transfer from Arrecife to the airport.
Fly to Lanzarote (Arrecife). Then transfer from the airport to your first hotel in Costa Teguise at the beginning of the tour. Likewise, at the end of the tour, another transfer will take you from the hotel in Arrecife to the airport.
