Day 2Falset to Gratallops 5.3 miles 8.4km 300m up Walking time 2 hours.

Today you shall start your walk along the ancient bridle path that connects Falset with Gratallops, which has been recently restored. You can enjoy the amazing architecture of the path as you stroll towards your destination. On arrival in Gratallops, you could decide to take a guided visit and a wine tasting.

Day 3Gratallops to Morera de Montsant 7.2 miles 11.5km up 350m walking time 3.5 hours.

First a transfer to the village of La Vilella Alta. Then you walk to the village of Scaladei, where you can enjoy a guided visit to a traditional cellar with wines still being produced following the Carthusian monks traditional ways in a hundred-year-old building. After tasting their delicious wines, you will follow the monks’ path to the Carthusian monastery and then to the village of Morera de Montsant, the highest in Priorat and with great views over the region. In Scaladei you can also enjoy an organic olive oil tasting.

Day 4Morera de Montsant Loop 7.5 miles 12km up  370m walking time 4 hours.

Today you walk up the Montsant mountain range and enjoy the wonderful views of the surrounding area.  You will also enjoy the bareness of its highest parts, and down to a verdant spot of great beauty, called Clot del Cirer. Great views over the region and a challenging path with the little pebbles rolling under your feet.

Day 5Morera de Montsant to Siurana 8.8 miles 14km up 400m walking time 3.5 hours.

Today’s walk following the old Carthusian path that joins the monastery with the coast or inland territories, surrounding the Montsant Natural Park you walk to the village of Cornudella. There you can enjoy wine tasting and a guided visit to a winery of the appellation of origin Montsant. You will end the day walking to Siurana, the Pearl of the Priorat, following an ancient dry stone path.

Day 6 Loop walk around Siurana 3.1 miles 5km up 200m walking time 1 hour.

Today you walk around the village of Siurana and into the valley of the river Siurana. Just imagine we are in the middle of 12th century when all of Catalonia was occupied by the Christians. All? No! A hamlet inhabited by irreducible people of Siurana still resists, and always! That will be a walk to discover the prettiest spots of the mythical Kingdom of Siurana, the last Muslim stronghold of the New Catalonia. We will know its legend and the story that hides in his impassable walls.
