Our Alpine Cycling holiday is extremely panoramic with views like those below and visits such locations as Bled and its famous Lake said by many as one of the most beautiful locations in Europe. Our three cycling tours are available as self guided cycling holidays and each cycle tour is completely different in terms of scenery. Our City to Sea tour is also available as a guided tour on selected dates.

Slovenian Alps We have available 5 , 7 and 9 night self led level 3 cycling holidays through the Slovenia Alps.
The Slovenian Alps seem to be different to other mountain ranges , they glisten in the light as they are made of white limestone. Your tour starts cycling between isolated farms in Savinjske Alps and many cyclists admire the panoramic views this road offers of the Slovenian Alps. Then onto the Logarski Valley which is known as one of the most beautiful Glacial valleys. Jezersko means “ place with the lake “ . When the glacier melted after the last Ice Age a large lake was formed which remains to this day. From here you cycle to the world famous Bled and its lake with an old church on an island in the middle. From here you progress to the Bohinj lake , with its surroundings you will surely agree with the locals that this is one of the prettiest places on earth. You spend the night in a little mountain village of Sorica then the next day cycle down to the cosmopolitan town of Skofja Loka giving wonderful contrasts of the region. From here you will enter the valley basin for the flat section to the historical town of Kamnik. Continue through the Kamniks mountain plateau and onto an area with many pastures with farms and and shepherds huts. The final day of your circular tour will take you through the volcanic Smrekovec and its now deep green forests with cover the range

Starting from the Slovenian Capital of Ljubljana and cycling in a south westerly direction towards Trieste and the Italian Border and the Adriactic Sea. This tour is ideal for a first cycling holiday, You can spend an extra night in the Capital which is well worth the experience and visit the old centre. The tour follows very quiet country lanes along a region little explored by the tourist.

If you are interested in Spa towns and wine. This cycle and wellness cycling holiday follows a circular direction from Maribor in the north east Slovenian region which is so famous for its Spa towns. The terrain is fairly easy making this a tour suitable for beginners and we have graded the tour a wanderer tour. This cycling holiday is taking you through northeast of Slovenia and has it all , accommodation in hotels with thermal water springs where you can relax after days’ cycling. Cycling through vineyards, passing wine cellars with great white wine or taking a snack in a little roadside inn! Those who have only passing interest in wine may be more interested in old towns, mighty castles, stork nests on chimneys and much more

This cycle tour in Slovenia will allow you to explore the world famous Triglav National Park ( Julian Alps ) and its surrounding region. The most famous lanmarks of this tour are Lake Bled with its church on the Island with the Triglav peaks just behind it and its famous Castle on the hillside over looking the Lake and town. Other little know region but just as beautiful if not more so is Lake Bohinj where mountain scenes and tranquility meet together. If you like mountain scenes but do not want extreme sport to reach it then this could well be a tour for you.
