You will find that each island has a unique charm. Our Channel Islands hiking vacation starts on the Island of Jersey, often known as the Island of Flowers. In Saint Helier which has a somewhat French influence, you will head to the North of the island and explore the coastal path which dominates the majestic cliffs, the tip of Grosnez at Bouley Bay. On day five you shall take a short trip to the island of Guernsey.
Here you can discover the port of St Peter which has a feel of a charming village built like an amphitheatre facing the sea. Here in the south of the island the small villages and the green valley’s give a pleasant tranquillity to your walks. Lastly, you take the short crossing to the Island of Sark for the day, here without cars you will only hear the sound of horse carts.

During the day take the ferry or a flight to the Island of Jersey, located just off the French coast. A transfer is included from the airport to St Helier but if you arrive by ferry you make your own way to the hotel from the ferry post. Time permitting you can even take your first hike on the west side of the island, from Saint-Brelade Bay to Corbiere cape, dominated by its lighthouse. At the end of the cape, you will discover the breathtaking panorama on Saint-Ouen Bay. 8.8 miles 14km, 4hours walking time, +360 m / -360 m
Before your walk, you must first take the bus to the northwest of the island to Etacquerel. This is a spectacular walk at the top of the highest cliffs of the island, near Groznez Castle. After your walk, you will return by bus to Saint Helier. 10.6 miles 17km, 4.5 hours walking time, +460 m / -430 m.
Today you take the bus to the north of the island. Here you continue on the coastal path perched on a path at the top of the cliffs. You will have wonderful views of the charming anchorage of Bouley Bay and Rozel Bay. The return trip to Saint-Helier. 6.8 miles 11km 4 hours walking +420 m / -420 m.
You will have some free time in Saint-Helier before crossing to Guernsey on a 1-hour ferry ride. You can explore the sophisticated dock area, Elizabeth Castle or the shopping district. Then a quick bus transfer down to the south of the Island and hiking from Jerbourg Cape to Saint-Peter, going through the nice beach of Fermain Bay. The day will be organized according to the boat schedule between Jersey and Guernsey. 7.5 miles 12km, 3 hours walking +630 m / -630 m.
Today, a day’s trip to the Isle of Sark. Departure for Sark, which is a jump into the past! Motorized traffic is prohibited. On the way, you discover the Coupée, la Seigneurerie gardens, and Dixcart bay. Happiness and tranquillity will certainly be felt! 7.5 miles 12km , 4hours walking +300 m / -300 m.
Today you are hiking along the cliffs of the south of Guernsey from Pleinmont cape to Icart Cape. At more than 100m above the sea coast, this tortured coastline offers spectacular viewpoints on small rocky islets, bays, and canyons and further, with fine weather, on the Cotentin peninsula. 9.3 miles 15km, 4.5hours walking +540 m / -570 m.
You should have sometime today you explore further the highlights of Saint Peter town before returning too Jersey by ferry.
