Welcome to Hooked on Cycling holidays and our bike and barge holidays in Germany. Taking a bike and barge vacation in Germany is a superb way to relax. By the day you have gentle rides along beautiful lanes and cycle ways while the barge moves to your next port of call. Of course if you decide to stay on board no problem you can sunbath and watch the world go by as the barge gently sails to the next port. This cycling holiday is a 7 night self guided/guided tour. You will also be aboard a luxury barge with lovely public areas. You could even take our Moselle Valley cycle tour and the join this trip afterwards to extend your vacation by an extra week and return back by boat along the Moselle River. From Saarbruken you can then easily return to Mtez or elsewhere by train.. What better way to spend you vacation time. These are holidays to unwind, the combination of specially adapted river cruise boats and pedalling in colourful countryside on the idyllic rivers Moselle and Saar sounds like a good recipe for a successful holiday. Enjoy tranquil river meadows and savoir vivre: art nouveau meets Little-Venice, old wine-growing villages, traces of Roman culture and culinary highlights. The pleasures of well-being are well-known on the rivers Moselle and Saar.
